Parent Aware Rated — Four-Stars Coming January 2026

When I opened Kingdom Care Preschool, my heart was set on more than simply providing care — I wanted to create a place where children could grow into confident, capable, and kind little people. My journey began in family child care, but God opened doors for me to take the next step into offering a true preschool program. This is where I’m meant to be, and every day I feel blessed to do this work.

Our program is committed to offering the highest quality early education. Kingdom Care Preschool is currently a Two-Star Parent Aware rated program and will achieve the Four-Star rating—the highest possible—in January 2026. This rating reflects our dedication to preparing children for kindergarten through a blend of play and purposeful instruction, all within a warm, nurturing environment.

Our days are a blend of structured education and play-based learning. I believe there’s time in every day to allow children to explore and learn naturally while also giving them the skills they need to be ready for kindergarten. We keep our group small — no more than 12 students — so each child is truly known and given the attention they deserve.

At Kingdom Care Preschool, we have fun. We laugh, we play, we create, and we learn from one another. My favorite moments are when I see children working together to solve a problem, discovering how to cooperate and achieve something as a team. These are the skills that will carry them far beyond the preschool years.

Every child here is loved, valued, and understood. Alongside learning letters, numbers, and pre-reading skills, they’re building friendships, developing social confidence, and discovering the joy of learning. We enjoy daily outdoor play and provide healthy meals and snacks to keep our bodies and minds fueled for the day ahead. Serving families in Duluth, Proctor and the surrounding area.

Meet
Ms. Whitney

Preschool Teacher | Kingdom Care Preschool

Hi, I’m Whitney — the founder and teacher at Kingdom Care Preschool in Duluth, MN. My journey in early childhood education began in 2020 when I opened my in-home daycare, driven by a passion for creating a loving, supportive place where children can thrive. Over the years, I felt called to expand into a preschool program that not only nurtures but also prepares children for the exciting transition to kindergarten.

As both an educator and a mom to two wonderful children, Willow and Oakley, I understand how important it is for every child to feel safe, valued, and encouraged. My teaching philosophy blends play-based learning with structured activities, giving children the freedom to explore while also building the academic and social skills they’ll need for school success. With a small group size of just 12 students, I’m able to truly know each child and guide their growth with care and intention.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy crocheting, crafting, and spending time outdoors with my family and friends. My husband, Cory, and I love fishing, boating, and making memories together with our kids.

I’m so glad you’re here and look forward to welcoming your child into our warm and joyful preschool community.
