Child Care and Preschool Programs in Duluth and Proctor, MN

Kingdom Care Preschool provides home-based child care and early education for children ages 16 weeks–10 years. Our small group of up to 12 children allows each child to receive personal attention while learning, playing, and building relationships in a consistent environment.

Our program combines child-led play, purposeful teaching, creative activities, daily outdoor time, healthy meals and snacks, and age-appropriate routines. We serve families in Duluth, Proctor, and the surrounding Twin Ports area.

Infants receive individualized care based on their routines, developmental needs, and personalities. Their days include attentive care, age-appropriate play, books, music, movement, outdoor time, and opportunities to safely explore their surroundings.

A small group allows us to respond to each infant’s needs while building the trusting relationships that help babies feel safe and secure. Families receive regular communication and updates about their child’s day.

Infant Care for Ages 16 Weeks–17 Months

Toddlers learn by moving, exploring, practicing, and doing things for themselves. Our toddler care includes active play, creative activities, books, music, outdoor time, consistent routines, and age-appropriate learning experiences.

Children receive support as they develop language, friendships, confidence, self-help skills, and independence. We also work with families during potty training so children receive patient and consistent support.

Preschool and Kindergarten Readiness for Ages 3–5

Our preschool program balances play-based learning with purposeful instruction. Children have time to explore and use their imaginations while also building the social, emotional, and academic skills they need for kindergarten.

We use Experience Curriculum through Brightwheel to introduce letters, numbers, shapes, colors, early literacy, early math, science, art, music, and social-emotional skills. Children also practice listening, following routines, solving problems, working with others, and becoming more independent.

Kingdom Care Preschool has earned the highest possible Four-Star Parent Aware rating, reflecting our commitment to quality child care and early education.

Summer Child Care for Ages 5–10

Summer care gives school-age children a place to relax, play, create, and spend time with friends when school is not in session. Days may include outdoor play, games, creative projects, books, free play, and mixed-age activities.

School-age care is primarily available during the summer and is based on available space.
